This Privacy Policy explains how SellerProfit Pro collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app, its reports, exports, billing features, and related support flows.

1. Who we are

SellerProfit Pro is an analytics and reporting tool designed for Amazon sellers.

If you have privacy questions or a deletion request, contact: sellerprofitpro@gmail.com

2. What data we collect

  • Account and authentication data: name, email address, password handled through Firebase Authentication, and OTP verification data used to confirm your email and secure login.
  • User profile and account settings: preferred language, locale or timezone settings if saved, plan status, usage limits, subscription dates, and related account state required to operate the service.
  • Uploaded business/report data: Amazon transaction CSV files, ads reports, COGS templates, and the calculations, summaries, and exports generated from those files.
  • Billing and subscription data: selected plan, Razorpay order and payment identifiers, billing status, subscription activation dates, and related premium-access records.
  • Support communications: the information you send us if you contact support by email.
  • Local browser data: selected language, report-related preferences, download history, saved COGS text, and limited session-based client issue data used for troubleshooting.
  • Service and security logs: limited technical and error metadata processed by our backend and infrastructure providers for security, debugging, and service reliability.

3. Authentication and account information

SellerProfit Pro uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account access.

We use email-based OTP verification to confirm your email and secure login or signup flows. OTP codes are time-limited and are not stored in plain text in our backend logic.

4. Uploaded CSV, report, and business data

Your uploaded Amazon, ads, and COGS files are parsed in your browser for report preparation and preview.

Depending on the feature you use, summarized calculations and selected report-derived data may be sent to our backend services to generate reports, exports, enforce account limits, support premium features, and maintain trusted server-side report snapshots.

We do not rely on a public file-upload flow for these reports in the current implementation. However, business data derived from the files can still be processed server-side as part of report generation, export generation, and security checks.

5. Payments and subscriptions

SellerProfit Pro uses Razorpay for subscription checkout and payment processing.

We receive and store payment-related metadata such as order ID, payment ID, signature, plan, amount, currency, verification status, and subscription activation details. We do not store your full card, UPI PIN, or similar payment credentials on our servers.

6. Third-party service providers we use

  • Firebase Authentication for login and account access
  • Cloud Firestore for account, payment, usage, and trusted report records
  • Cloud Functions for Firebase for server-side report, export, billing, OTP, FX, and security workflows
  • Firebase Hosting for serving the web app and public pages
  • Razorpay for payment processing
  • SendGrid (via SMTP) for OTP and account-related email delivery

7. Analytics and tracking

Based on the current app code, SellerProfit Pro does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising tracking SDKs in the web app.

8. How we use data

  • To create and show profit, ads, return, and export reports
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts
  • To enforce free/premium usage limits and activate subscriptions
  • To send OTP and account-related emails
  • To troubleshoot failures, monitor abuse, and improve reliability
  • To respond to support requests and account deletion requests

9. When data may be shared or disclosed

We may disclose data only in limited situations such as:

  • to the service providers listed above so the app can function
  • to comply with legal obligations or valid government requests
  • to protect the security, integrity, or rights of SellerProfit Pro, our users, or others

10. Data retention

  • Account records: retained while your account remains active and as needed for billing, legal, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.
  • OTP and signup verification records: short-lived and automatically expire after their verification window.
  • Trusted report snapshots: current server-side trusted report snapshots are designed to expire after a limited retention period (currently up to 7 days in the present implementation).
  • Browser-stored data: local data remains in your browser until you clear it, use the app’s clear-data controls, or your browser removes it.

11. Data security

We use HTTPS for app communication, Firebase-managed authentication, hashed OTP handling in backend logic, backend verification for payments, and server-side security controls for protected operations.

No system is perfect, but we aim to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the current service.

12. Account deletion and local data clearing

You can clear browser-stored local data from inside the app using the existing clear-data control.

For account deletion or deletion of server-side data tied to your account, contact us at sellerprofitpro@gmail.com from your registered email address.

13. Children’s privacy

SellerProfit Pro is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will review the request.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the product, legal requirements, or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
